Integrated Waste Management

We assist unincorporated residents and businesses with garbage, recycling and organics collection issues.

Consumer and Environmental Protection Agency's Integrated Waste Management manages Santa Clara County Unincorporated Area Franchise Agreements for garbage, recycling and organics collection services, including compliance activities that meet State requirements such as SB 1383. Staff also coordinate with other jurisdictions in the County to support waste reduction, recycling, composting, and other solid waste matters.
